Tender TEDxDelft Award

This autumn TEDxDelft Award will provide you the unique opportunity to share your idea worth spreading at the TEDxDelft conference. At this event, speakers will awe you with their inspiring stories on Technology, Entertainment and Design. TED is a nonprofit organization, devoted to Ideas Worth Spreading. Annual conferences host renowned speakers from all fields, who manage to leave you awe-struck after each talk.

The TEDxDelft Award is a prestigious international award affiliated to the TEDxDelft event taking place the 7th of November in Delft. The TEDxDelft Award provides the winner with the unique prize to be a speaker at TEDxDelft. By this way your idea will be spread amongst fellow TED enthusiasts and remarkable speakers.

The TEDxDelft Award presents a challenge for all contestants consisting of three rounds:
- First round: online selection based on written and video submissions;
- Second round: 30 selected contestants will attend a full day of (pitch)workshops and workshops in the field of Technology, Entertainment and Design given by inspiring people. With a dinner and further pronunciation of the final contestants this round is ended.
- Third round: in this last round the top 6 final contestants will pitch in front of an audience of 150-200 people and a professional jury. The winner will get the ultimate prize: a TEDxDelft talk on 7 November 2011. The audience also votes for one of the 6 finalists who is to receive the audience prize.
